New Location this course is going to be taught at the Outdoor Excursions Learning Center in Boosboro MD. This give you a less congested area and ample parking.

This course is designed for beginners. It is a two-2.5 hour lessons. In the morning the class covers basic kayak safety, basic strokes and boat control in flat water. In the afternoon the classroom changes to a moving water location to learn basic maneuvers. Doing both classes on the same day allows for the smoothest learning progression. There is a lunch break between the two sessions.
